4GEE Community Cinema Club – Combine EE’s super fast 4G network with its BAFTA sponsorship to bring people together through a series of remote community screenings and ‘cinema in a box’ kits that enabled rural families and communities to host their own.
We amplified with a competition mechanic driving engagement across multiple touch points and connecting new fans to EE. Through this integrated and multi-layered execution, EE was able to authentically show how it goes further than any other network to keep customers connected to the things they love, through the power of its super-fast 4G network, shifting negative perceptions and building brand love in the process.

This campaign ticked all the boxes for us – a truly creative solution that effectively leveraged our heritage in film to succinctly deliver the brand story that ‘We Go Further’ to keep our customers connected to the things they love, using our award-winning 4G network. M&C Saatchi PR’s ability to weave layers into a campaign story to provide rich content for media and owned channels is second to none. But, perhaps most impressive is how the campaign was crafted to prioritise bringing British communities together, whilst still delivering against our business objectives. It was an honour to meet such a diverse range of community groups from the length and breadth of the UK through the campaign and we will most certainly be building on last year’s success to bring back the campaign for a further year in 2018.
