We are very proud to have won four 2017 Bulldog Media Relations Awards for our work with our clients HIPPEAS, IT’SUGAR and GameHedge! The Bulldog Awards recognise excellence in media relations and are determined by award-winning journalists, so we are honoured to be celebrated for the following campaigns:
1. A SNACKING REVOLUTION: LAUNCHING HIPPEAS IN THE U.S.
Two of the three gold awards are a result of the team’s successful U.S. launch of HIPPEAS, a revolutionary range of totally groovy, organic chickpea puffs.
A series of exclusive announcements, followed by subsequent widespread storytelling among business, trade and lifestyle media, bloggers, and influencers, sparked a nationwide frenzy for the product and helped HIPPEAS exceed its year one sales goals.
2. IT’SUGAR ONE SCARY ELECTION
Another gold award went to our “One Scary Election” campaign for IT’SUGAR. With the heated U.S.Presidential Election taking place just days after Halloween, M&C Saatchi PR was tasked with ensuring IT’SUGAR was not lost in campaign clutter during this candy-critical holiday. We decided that if you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, and found a bold way for IT’SUGAR to be a part of the election media landscape with “One Scary Election,” a campaign that was equally and unapologetically offensive to both candidates.
3. A GRAND-SLAM START-UP LAUNCH FOR GAMEHEDGE
We also took home a silver Bulldog Award for our launch of revolutionary new ticket marketplace: GameHedge. Charged with driving ticket sales and raising the brand’s profile in the investor community, we set out on a strategic media and influencer engagement plan that put the right headlines and conversations in the right places, in turn disrupting the ticket industry. Taking advantage of every key moment during the 2016 MLB season helped put the brand on the map in a very competitive category and generated interest that led directly to its next round of funding.
We are thrilled to be honoured for our work with HIPPEAS, IT’SUGAR and GameHedge! The HIPPEAS launch, One Scary Election Campaign and GameHedge launch are all projects that the team has felt extremely passionate about. These are three great brands with exceptional products and offerings, so it is rewarding to see them so well-received by media and consumers.
